So...our source as to what the mother is thinking is....her ex-husband? Hmmm...I'm sure there's no possible way that he could be stretching the truth as to what she believes right?

Get real. This is a non-story unless the mother speaks out.

<<Simple answer: the media is biased. They've always wanted Obama to win this thing, right from the start of the primaries, and they've shamelessly not even tried to hide it.>>

Well, since Obama is the better candidate, I see no wrong in that ;)

Obama probably should have listened though. It's bad enough McCain is using a war hero's death as one of his shameless little campaign tactics, Obama certainly didn't need to do the "oh yeah?" thing.

It's a double-edged sword for Obama though, there was an article posted here a while back saying that even though he got more attention, quite a lot of it wasn't positive. I'd say the media doesn't "favor him" as much as they look at him as a kind of "ratings opportunity."

That is true.

During the huge first wave of smears against Obama by the Clinton campaign and since by the conservatives, the media's coverage was, to a large extent, reactive and in fact popularized the smears.

Well shazam. I'm shocked by all of this. I never would have expected a politician like Obama to resort to such a thing. The caliber of this man has been nothing less than sterling and impeccable. But to find this out? Now? I certainly never saw anything like this coming.

(Please reread that, but picture me having a drama queen outburst, but being very very unconvincing at it).
