Indeed, I'm out too.  I'm sure in MacFarlane's circle it is considered clever to draw comparisons between Republicans and Nazis, but to me it is just a sign that they've run out of good ideas.

Hitler came from a labor union and belonged to the Nazi party. Nazi translates to National Socialist Party.  I think it is safe to say Obama seems to be more in favor of redistribution of wealth than McCain.  For antisemitism, I'd have no doubt McCain would come to aid should Israel be attacked (not that I'm implying it would be).  For propagandist messages, who are the ones here using cartoons to make disparaging claims without facts to back anything up?

You've lost a viewer.

Most awesome episode of any show ever. Family Guy is hilarious and only getting better. Thanks to the writers for not cow-towing to losers who wish to sensor good humor.

Oh God, IT WAS ONLY A JOKE !!!!  What are You people in love with McCain and Palin?  I cant grip how anyone can be so offended by a cartoon. Do any of you ever watch or remember Hogans's Heros?  They made a sitcom out of a German WW II prison camp. and poked fun a Nazis all the time.  I would love to see/hear McCains and Palins repsonse to Fmaily Guy, I bet they arent even bothered by it ! If anything it was a free promo for them.  And this BS  sayng You arent gonna watch Family Guy anymore,....good, stop watching,.....please so we faithful normal viewers can  enjoy the site with out You whiners and babies , and complainers. Get a Grip ! people ! I dont get those who watch offensive shows and then complain ! Thats like putting Your hand in a fire then complining its hot! DUUUUUHHH!!!   Grow Up !

If Seth got famous by "luck" alone, then why exactly were you watching the show. And then felt compelled enough to come post on a message board how upset you were. Please, just because you got your feelings hurt you try to make a political statement on a message board for a show you clearly watch. Because it makes you feel lucky? No. Because it's funny as hell.

He supports Obama, so does probably the majority of America, get over it my god. It was clearly for entertainment.

I wasn't offended  i thought it was funny and accurate.
JEisenhardt said...

I was offended by the McCain/Palin reference (campaign button on the nazi uniform) from Saturday's episode.  So sick and tired of elitists like Seth MacFarlane using entertainment (and their LUCK of becoming famous) as a way to cram their Socialist views down my throat.  After researching to discover that MacFarlane has donated tens of thousands to the Obama campaign, it was ever so clear.

SO - I will do what I've done when I've encountered this elsewhere ... contact those who advertise on the show (thank you, Tivo for making that part easy) and let them know I won't support them if they support this kind of crap.  PS - Family Guy isn't nearly as funny as it used to be and I'm sure this will only contribute to its demise.

Lets translate then ... see if History repeats... and while were at it lets take things out of context and go too far..

"I will do what I've done when I've encountered this elsewhere ... contact those who advertise on the show (thank you, Goering for making that part easy) and let them know I won't support them if they support this kind of crap.  PS - Family Guy isn't nearly as funny as it used to be and I'm sure this will only contribute to its demise."

On 12 November Goering chaired an important inter-ministerial meeting to determine the implications of Tivonacht and to plan future Media policy. Goebbels, Heydrich, avertising, finance and foreign ministry officials, and insurance companies' representatives, were all present. Goering began as follows:

"Gentlemen! Today's meeting is of a decisive character. I have received a letter written on the JEisenhardt's orders ... requesting that the Macain/Palin question be now, once and for all, co-ordinated and solved one way or another. And yesterday once again the JEisenhardt  requested me on the phone to take co-ordinated action in the matter ... I would not wish there to remain any doubt, gentlemen, as to the purpose of today's meeting. We have not come together simply for more talk but to make decisions, and I implore the competent agencies to take all measures to eliminate Seth from the US Media and to submit the measures to me, so far as it is necessary.

A number of important actions followed this meeting. Blaming the Seth for Macain's defeat, the "government" seized the money from his account to compensate for the damage inflicted on Republicans. Additionally Goering announced that from 1 January 2009, "The law for protection of viewers and state". This law, plus a number of supplementary decrees, brought to an end any type of professional activity on the part of Seth which required contact with the Republican world.

The 12 November meeting did not just concern itself with the broadcasting situation. JEisenhardt demanded that the Seth should be segregated in every sphere of life. Some two weeks later Himmler issued a tough police decree effectively banning Seth from visiting theatres, cinemas, concerts, exhibitions, cabarets and circuses.
